Client  Wheatleys M&E   Sector    Commercial The Challenge Installation of 32 x 250w panels to cover 60M2 using Renusol configuration tool and PV Sol software. The building was modelled and the layout designed to cover 60 metres squared as required by a consultant.  Due to the heigh of the building and the city centre location, the ballast required was over 400 blocks, which sit in the console bin underneath the panels. As there are two CHP units on sire, a separate G59 relay was installed which connects the Baxi CHP units with our electrical works.

Mitford Unit is an autism inpatient unit located on the Northgate Hospital site and provides a specialist service for adults with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Client:  Hepple Engineering         Sector:  Education  Client Background: UCS was approached by Hepple engineering to design a PV system for Northumbria's new building in the centre of Newcastle. The Challenge When we were given the drawings of the roof, initially there was very little plant on the roof. However, a timeline video produced by the university alerted us to a lot more plant on the roof than expected! What UCS Renewables Did After several re-designs, the final layout and required kWp was agreed. We installed 43 x 300w Italian Peimar panels and Sunfixings east/west mounting system.
